Class History In 1958, we, the class of ’62, entered high school. Our Freshman class officers were: President: Tommy Waite, Vice President: Carole Lantier, Secretary: Nancy Thomas and Charlene Bangs, Treasurer: Jennie Chereshnoski, and our class advisor was Coach Kane. The fi- nancial monotony of our Freshman year was broken by a successful tea dance. Bruce Whitehead joined the ranks of our class, while Jennie Chereshnoski, Patricia LaBouf, Dick Hockey, Billy Sanford, Douglas Ebdon, and Kenneth Barrett left us. We began our Sophomore year with the following officers: Carole Lantier, President, Bruce Whitehead, Vice President, Lynda Snyder, Secretary, and Judy Sischo, Treasurer. Mr. Theodore Rice was class advisor. Our class diminished to 43 when we lost Beverly McNett, Nancy Rhodes, and Maxine Vrooman. Donna Fyderek and Ed Wood- ward joined our class that year. During the summer we had a very successful bake sale and in June we ordered our class rings. Our Junior year Bruce Whitehead became our class President with Carole Lantier as Vice President, Lynda Snyder, Secretary, and Judy Sischo, Treasurer. Mr. Theodore Rice again was our class advisor. We lost Bob Sheley, Margaret Steele, John Steele, Ed McGrath, Forty Plantz, and Francis Overton. Ellen Jantzi joined us. Our long-awaited

Class History (cont.) class rings arrived in October and we all rushed to the Post Office to get them. Our most successful financial project for the year was selling Adams High School sweatshirts. Then came our Junior Play, “The Absent-Minded Professor,” which we presented in May under the direction of Mrs. Harmon. It was a tremendous success and we had a wonderful time putting it on. The Junior Prom, “Blue Moon,” brought our Junior year to a close. After three short years, we found ourselves in our Senior year at Adams High School. This year, we all discovered, ended too soon. In three years our class slowly dwindled to 36. Gene Ludlow, Joel Fyderek, Dawn Williams, and Sandra Bice left us, while Nancy Rhodes and Sarah Burns joined our class. Our Senior Class officers were: President, Stanton Hamilton, Vice President, Tommy Waite, Sec- retary, Judy Richmond, and Treasurer, Judy Sischo. Mrs. Howard was our class advisor, and under her direction, we presented our Senior Play, “The Happy Haunting Grounds.” Most of our Senior year was devoted to our yearbook, which we hope will be the best one ever put out at Adams High School. On the evening of June 25th we will don our caps and gowns, thus bringing our four happy years at A.H.S. to an end.
