( ass JJrop iecu June 26, 1971 Dear Diary, Tonight on a local I V station, the lives of the class of 1961 were given because of some of the strange happenings although it was really to he expected. We see now where Dave LaLone is manager of the “Grand Union.” He helps keep his wife, the former Lorie Fyderek. in training with a union of their own. Georgia Graves, woman inventor, has now discovered a new hair-dye, “scorange.” John Illingworth, now dictator of Cobbville, has formed a pact with his idol, Khrushchev. Sharon Rusho, who is the new physical education teacher in Water- town, is having a hard time finding a place to keep her horses. Mrs. William Martzloff, alias Kathryn Barker, is very busy caring for her seven children while her husband is working hard in his olive factory. David Gibbs now owns his own beetle farm. He invented a new beetle juice. Pam Webb and Brenda Whitford have started their own “Eye Glop” factory. John Scofield owns and operates a large farm near Adams. Marie Berry is now a “blackberry” picker in the Southern bogs of Cobbville. Marcia Jones, who is head of the “Old Maid Society” of Worthville, has just made headlines by eloping with the head of the “Bachelors Club.” Denny Kellogg has joined up with the Harlem Globe Trotters. Abby Hewitt, who started out to be an airline hostess, is now a blimps mechanic. Star Brown and Squint Mathews, alias Thurston and Bob, have re- organized the A1 Capone gang. Janet Hodder has entered a contest to see who can talk the longest. The last I heard she was ahead by 220 1-2 words. 14

Sast lo)tf ancf Jest ament Marcia Jones wills her poise to Jenny Bice. Denny Kellogg leaves his wild ways to Frank Crast. Dave LaLone wills to Tom Waite a pressure cooker to can his corn. Georgiena Ludlow leaves her ready smile to Joyce Backus. Bob Mathews leaves his membership card to Barnes Corners to Dave Weal. Bill Martzloff leaves his big muscles to Roger Harris. Rose Moffett wills her job as official soup strainer to Betty McGrath. Sharon Rusho wills her athletic ability to Susan Alden. John Scofield leaves his speaking ability to Charlene Bangs, who should go far in this field. Nancy Scofield leaves her ability to avoid homework to Ricky Burton. Susie Stevens wills her chair in Senior band to Pat Greenley. Claudia Tamblin and Shona Sherman leave their ability to get their man and keep him to Lorraine Mullin and Kathy Mathews. Linda Taylor leaves her technique of skipping school to Sally Bumash. Norman Thomas leaves his acting ability to Bill Berry. John Trainor wills one pound of fat to Mrs. Howard. Craig Wagner leaves to Ed Remington a wolfing license to make his future escapades legal. Dick Waters leaves his cheering ability to Nancy Thomas. Pam Webb leaves her ability to stay slim to Phyllis LaCette. Dan Whitehead wills his basketball ability to “Highpockets.” Benda Whitford wills to Bev Macklin a grass skirt to go with her swing. Charles Wilcox wills his ability to get along with all the girls to Milton Davis and Harold Gamble. The Senior Class of 1961 leaves to the juniors all unpaid bills (which are many), one worn-out Mrs. Howard, all the rights of the seniors, and all the luck in the world.

( ass JJ 'op iecij Jack Jones and Craig Wagner are now owners of the “New Boston Brewery.” Charles Wilcox has made the army a career and hopes to be a General soon. It is a good thing Linda Crast trained to be a pediatrician since she has ten little ones of her own. We heard recently that Dan Whitehead’s head has puffed up even more since he finally married “his” queen of Oswego. Joyce Corey, Susie Stevens, and Sandra Dillenbeck, who for years have been known as the Three Musketeers, have dropped their title and joined a foreign legion. John Trainor is now the “before” in all the muscle-building ads. Nancy Scofield hasn’t yet made her ultimate goal, the Marines haven’t made a man of her. Dick Waters, who was once a great hunter, is now running a game farm. Linda Draper, who studied hard in nursing school, is now head nurse at West Point. George Flaherty has taken up with the nonalcoholic anonymous and was voted the least likely to succeed. Pat Bechtel and Georgiena Ludlow are in competition with each other and Mrs. Bechtel for the teaching position of Adams High School. Linda Taylor is running a daily correspondence course for the broken hearted. Rose Moffett and the Bice Boys have organized and have a very nice kidnapping service going for themselves. Betty Dack is training for the U.S. Women’s Wrestling team. Shona Sherman Cheney and Claudia Tamblin Draper are working hand in hand with their businesses, “Shona’s Nursery” and “Draper’s Diaper Service.” Norman Thomas now owns a large dairy farm. 1 think we just solved his father’s problem of who is stealing all his farm supplies. And so, dear Diary, 1 close amazed with the way the class of 1961 has managed itself.
