PROPHECY While stranded in outer space in my do it yourself spooknick. complete with the exception of a return lever, (this project was started when I was taking shop from Mr. Smith I. I whiled away many hours observing my classmates of ’58. As 1 look down at my old Alma Mater I see Tommy Williams is still winding the old trail between his house and school, but not as a student. He has taken over for the retired Mr. Caulkins. Another one of our students is still going to A.H.S. regularly. Mrs. Bechtel couldn't part with Ben Snyder so she made him her assistant. Eugene Murray’s experience at the bakery enabled him to get a job at the W’hite House with the title of “Chief Donut Hole Taster” (for the president). Donna Robarge inspired by her position as Intramural leader at Adams High has started a basketball team, whose antics give the Globe Trotters a tough time. Sharon Smith never cared for sports in school but she has wowed the world by hold- ing the woman’s championship wrestling title for 6 continuous years. Sharon’s good friend Bonnie Barrett is happily married and starting a nursery school of her own. Sharon Hines is now running a very exotic diner. Her reputation was built on her mouth watering rattlesnake salad, fried caterpillars and savory broiled octopus steak. Peter Larkin is giving Ike Berry a run for his money. He has opened a Bowling alley in what used to be Rice’s Factory. Pete is married to the now famous Madame Patricia Butterfly Trainor who is playing many piano concerts in Carnegie Hall. Nancy Belloff who showed great leadership ability as president of our class for two years has just been elected the first lady president of the U. S. However, much of Nancy’s success was due to the eloquent speeches given by her campaign manager, Joanne Flaherty. Joanne is a combination of Humphrey Pennyworth and Demosthenes. Ann Holley and Kay LaLone were spotted by a Paramount talent scout during our Jr. Play and are now child stars in the recent Bobbsie Twins series. Lana Graves’ ability to be heard and not seen has made her indispensable as a L.S. espionage agent. Shirley Larrison has started a swankey salon for the rehabilitation of fingernail biters. Her services are in such demand that she has had to call in her friend Bob S. and together they make an excellent example of before and after. I was sorry to see that Faustina V. was in the hospital. Too bad she didn't discover until after she opened her florist shop that she was allergic to flowers. Walter Barden is a big industrialist running his own nut factory and his favorite nut is Hazel. I hear Dave Widrig had been working in the Science field. They say he’s mad. What’s this I see approaching? Why, it’s Dave and he’s got an extra return lever.
