CLASS HISTORY After struggling up through eight grades, we bravely entered high school. Upon organization, we elected Frank Tousley, President: Loretta Williams. Vice President: Bob Hine. Secretary: Barbara Hunt. Treasurer. Our activities this year consisted of a hav ride. In our sophomore year, we selected as our officers: President, Avis Pope; Vice President, Bob Hine: Secretary, Loretta Williams. Treasurer, I'd Gooding. In the spring we had a hay ride and picnic. We arrived in the Junior Class with high hopes. Our officers this year were as follows: President, Ed Gooding; Vice President. June Groves: Secretary. Jackie Larkin; Treasurer, Frank Tousley. Our advisor was Miss Reed. We received our class rings in December and were very proud of them. We held several dances after Easter and our Junior Prom was held on June 3. We were privileged to escort the seniors at graduation and the marshals were June Grove and Bill DeLawyer. Now at last we have arrived. For our last and most memorable year in school we elected as our officers: President. Frank Tousley: Vice President, Dick Peck. Secretary. June Groves; Treasurer, Avis Pope. The play, “Out of the Frying Pan , was presented on November 11th and was a big success. The play was under the direction of Mrs. Howard who is also our class advisor. The yearbook staff worked hard under the leadership of Dick Peck. Editor, to put out the 1950 volume of “Memories . We had several dances during the year including the Football Hop, Turkey Hop, and Christmas Ball. Thus, with the good influences and happy memories of our days in Adams High School as our background, we step out into a world in which we are sure we will succeed. [ 12 ]
