wx, ss -M wx shaping up! The Physical Education Department had many new changes this year. Two new teachers joined the staff- Mr. Bailo and Mr. Seman. A new course was also offered that physically conditioned students through water exercises. Taught by Mrs. Sicora, Aqua Dynamics, proved to be a good class to take. Even though the majority of gym classes were smaller this year than ever before, they were led by a strong field of teachers. Besides Mr. Bailo. Mr. Seman and Mrs. Sicora, the remaining Physical Education staff included Miss Guillaume and Mr. Niedzwiecki. viva la music The students in the Music Department at Adams were given an opportunity to participate in a group music activity and to develop a technique on an instrument. This year, because of their diligent practice in, and out of class they performed many good concerts. These included Bantasia Qin which all three bands plus the Marching Band played wellj. the Winter Concert and the Spring Concert. Also the Symphony band and the Wind Ensemble combined at the end of the year to form the Graduation Band. which added to the commencement. ln addition to the concert bands. directed by Mr. Simmons, there were two classes taught by Mr. Goldsworthy. The new expanded Music Appreciation Course helped students to listen to music with a keen sense for musical quality. The .lazz Band had many talented students this year and performed with a good solid sound. .- - musician. eh? '
