Mr. Berry has taught math in district 14 for 11 years transferring from Kearney Middle school to Adams City. He was born in 1916 in Brankman, Oklahoma. He has two sisters and three brothers. He attended Hammond High School in Oklahoma where he played football, basketball, and wrestled. He married Hazel Allred in 1942. They had two daughters and now ha ve two granddaugh- ters and one grandson. Mr. Berry served in the military for 26 years, and was stationed all around the world. Just a few places where he lived were the Phillipine Islands, Germany, Korea, and Japan. He was also a prisoner of war for 1242 days in Japan. Mr. Berry enjoys Hshing for Colorado Trout and is a amateur short wa ve radio opera tor. He also is the Youth for Christ sponsor here at A.C. So, with much love and appreciation here 's to you Mr. Berry, for all your hard work and dedication. We, the 1980-81 yearbook staff know that words may not be enough but You're one ofa kind.
