Academics The Sounds of Central are heard in the classroom every day of the school year. The main function of the school is to teach, and teachers at A.C. presented the opportunities for students to learn. It is through their efforts, as well as those of students themselves, which make the educational process a success. The sounds of the classroom make up The Sounds of Academics.

History Students Learn of Past The new lecture area provides comfortable seats for the students. How about one for Mr. Green? Mr. Hilbert used many different methods for making history come alive this year. Through visiting speakers, slides and films, weekly reports on outside reading, and of course, tests, students gained an awareness of world and local events of the past and present. U.S . History and World History classes concentrated their efforts on learning to link the events of the past with the policies and events of today ' s world. The famous Tom Garwood records another of his hit records. 16
