iM Students Master Electrons, Scalpels Biology students explore the wonders of the aquatic world as Miss William¬ son looks on. Chemistry students J. Stucky and J. Wagley experi¬ ment with the fundamentals of chemistry. This year as school resumed, bi- ology students displayed talent in chas¬ ing elusive butterflies. This, along with collecting seeds and romping through forests for leaf specimens, composed the main requirements of the course. The odor of formaldehyde in the biology room was proof that the students have been exploring the com¬ position of star fish, clams and frogs. Freshmen and sophomores looked with awe and anticipation at the lab which chemistry and physics students use daily. In this room of bases, acids, burners, and scales, young chemists experimented and conducted tests to evaluate chemical compounds and discover their compositions. The rest of their time is spent in the classroom where they learn other fundamentals of chemistry. Physics students focused on the laws of energy and the matter.
