Knowledge And Vocabulary Through Languages Scrapbooks containing Latin root words were part of Latin II ' s semester test. Spanish class members practice Spanish sentence structure. Students at Adams Central were offered three foreign languages this year. French, Latin, and Spanish opened new doors to unusual customs and interesting places. The students viewed slides and films, listened to tapes, tasted foods native to the three lands, and dreamed of someday visiting these countries. French, a new addition to the curriculum, gave future travelers an insight into French living. Spanish classes studied history and social customs as well as sen¬ tence structure and verb placement. Latin prepared students for medical careers and gave them a sound background for understanding the English language.
