Prepare Pupils for Ever-changing World Freshmen biology classes searched for months to find leaves and insects for their collections. The dissecting of fish and frogs helped them to understand the func¬ tions of the human body. Physics classes furthered their sci¬ entific studies with the application of forces, energy, and changes that take place in matter. They also studied such principles as how much power it would take to raise a given a mount or weight a given distance under a given condition.
