Most Central students start out each day by riding the school bus from home to school. Confabs, Intermissions, Lunch Lines The study hall at noon pro¬ vides a place for study or just passing time. Hungry students wait patiently in the long limch line. This is a very familiar sight. 4

What Do Centralites Do? Come with us on a tour to see what Centralites do. We will show you who Centralites are, how they learn, and the fun they have. We will look in on clubs and other activities such as an¬ nual and newspaper staffs. Our academic section shows how classroom activity goes on. You will see students participate in sports and other activities. Social life will be reviewed and of course, you will meet us, Centralites. Open house, in addition to our yearbook, gives parents and friends a closer view of the school at work and thus, they become better acquainted with our educational system. We are proud to live in an ever progressing community; one that is interested in us as students as well as citizens. Thus you will see what Centralites do. 3

A large group almost always as¬ sembles at the bulletin board at noon. Students discirss up to the minute topics which appear on the board. Illustrate Everyday Routine A familiar sight between classes is the msh of students from one room to another. Among the fashion notes of Central teenagers were different styles of hairdos including DA ' s, ponytails, and flattops. Knee-high bobby socks and Bermuda socks were popularized by the girls worn with flats, loafers, rock ' n roll, or saddle shoes. Sweat shirts with Greyhounds printed on the front rated high with the freshmen through seniors. Other sights were the between classes rush, students crowded at lockers, and the long lunch line. The lockers are a frequent meet¬ ing place where students discuss ball games and dates. 5
