Janice Liechty and Lois Steury give curb service at a local drive- in restaurant. Church Youth Groups, Jobs, and Elementary and high school stu¬ dents alike enjoyed the hula hoop. A large group almost always as¬ sembles at the bulletin board at noon. Students discirss up to the minute topics which appear on the board. Illustrate Everyday Routine A familiar sight between classes is the msh of students from one room to another. Among the fashion notes of Central teenagers were different styles of hairdos including DA ' s, ponytails, and flattops. Knee-high bobby socks and Bermuda socks were popularized by the girls worn with flats, loafers, rock ' n roll, or saddle shoes. Sweat shirts with Greyhounds printed on the front rated high with the freshmen through seniors. Other sights were the between classes rush, students crowded at lockers, and the long lunch line. The lockers are a frequent meet¬ ing place where students discuss ball games and dates. 5

A typical scene where partygoers linger awhile is the table with many good things to eat. Sue Pageler, Maran Zimmerman, and Marcia Zimmerman chat over refreshments at the party. Outside of school activities, some Centralites have jobs at local business establishments. Attending church and working with church youth groups occupy some of the students’ time. Centralites also enjoy going to and giving parties with friends. A steady couple, Dave Isch and Sue Pageler, enjoy the surroundings of Carol, David, and Joyce Haggard ' s party. Parties Occupy Leisure Time David Haggard, Junior Isch, and other guests take out a few mo¬ ments for Coke and 7-Up. 7 i
