0 PrincipaI's Message TO THE ADAM KOLB FAMILY: The challenges to education in our time invoke our dedication to plan, and make effective our learning programs as to convince all pupils, --I and their parents, too, -- that enlightenment for all peoples depends upon understanding and co- 'operpation among all peoples. We can achieve such noble goals only by a con-l certed and universal drive to raise the educational level, spiritually and materially in all our communities. We must transform into reality our de- termination to let every individual develop as far as his abilities will permit him to develop. Our schools must not, in these respects-fail our communities. But, too, our communities must not fail our schools. Schools require from their citizenry, a total support which will enable them to encourage in the electorate, that - rational approach, that loving attitude, and that absolute sense of moralre- sponsibility, without which our democracy cannot survive. In the following vignettes of our existence here at Ada Kolb, these details in retrospection may serve as candle light in our more obscure moments, to a brighter and an ever purposeful future.
