Adair-Casey’s Home Ec Department is headed by Mrs. Doris Sturm. Her classes include Bachelor Living, Home Ec, Child Development and Independent Sewing. In November, Mrs. Sturm took a group of girls to Ankeny for a Fashion Mer- chandising Career Seminar. A few of her interests are sewing, reading and antiques. Art Department The art department is headed by Mr. Paul Hoffman. He receiv- ed his B.A. from Buena Vista College. His classes include ce- ramics, crafts, applied art, painting, photography, junior high exploratory art, and 13 elementary art classes. Mr. Hoffman lists hunting and fishing as lus hobbies. He also sponsors the junior class. 12

He received a B.S. from Mankato State and teaches 20th Cen- tury History, Spanish I and II, social problems and socio- logy. He also sponsors the Spanish Club. Mrs. Sharon An- derson. lower left, received a B.A. from NWMSU. As li- brarian, she has recently been updating the card catalog for the books in the elementary library.
