HOMECOMING SPECTACULAR '85 On Friday September 20, the Homecoming activities got underway with the announcement of the Homecoming court at the pep ralley. This years attendants were Geri Kipker Freshmen, Candy Howard Sophomore, Dee Wolber Junior, Vickie Campell Senior, Chris Minich Senior, and Andrea Traster Senior. During the Homecoming Parade, the court was escorted through town to the park where they circled the track. The attendants were then escorted down the field, before the game began, with the combined High School and Jr. High bands performing Lady. The cool might air was filled with excitement as Senior Andrea Traster was crowned Queen. The game then commensed with the 1985-86 Homecoming court presiding. The Student Council and the Athletic Department sponsored a Homecoming reunion. Invited were members of past Homecom- ing courts and members of the undefeated football teams of 1942, 1944, 1955, and 1973. Many past queens and attendants were at the game as well as many former football players who served as escorts. Queens and attendants from the last forty-two years were honored at halftime of the football game. The halftime activities ended with the High School band performing Mister Touchdown U S A. in honor of the Homecoming reunion. The Homecoming activities ended for another year with the Student Council sponsored dance Saturday night September 28. Many thanks go to all who were involved, the Cheerleaders for keeping up everyones spirit, the Parents for being so patient, the Faculty for being so supportive, the Band for performing entertaining music, the Student Council for organizing a spectacular Homecoming, and to the many more who were involved.
