Your education in the Ada schools is cumulative—class period upon class period, day upon day. week upon week, month upon month, year upon year—and is finally climaxed by Commencement. Every effort has been made by your parents, teachers, and adults with whom you have associated to make these experiences as educational as possible. These efforts have been made with one purpose in mind! namely, to assist you in making this “commencement'’ as constructive and positive as possible. You are entering a complex and constantly changing society. The things of yesteryear are gone forever and will not return. Are you prepared to meet and solve the problems of the future? I, for one, have every confidence in the youth of today. You will successfully solve the problems remaining in the Twentieth century and meet the problems of the Twenty-first century with enthusiasm and determination. To solve these problems will require hard work, creative thinking, anti a new and fresh approach to the future. You have the training, knowledge, and energy to solve these problems. Your future and the future of our nation and world is dependent upon you.

President MR. DON KOCH Vice-President MR. STEVE COLE Treasurer MRS. ROY KLINGLER r Secretary MRS. CARL SMITH PARENTS - TEACHERS ASSOCIATION Money for band uniforms, an elementary eraser cleaner, and supplementary teaching aids claimed the receipts from the annual PTA carnival of March 11, 1967. The evening was highlighted by competition between moms and daughters, and between the dads and members of the faculty. Those attending the Carnival could not help but stop at the Country Store for a little browsing and buying, take a chance at the cake-walk, watch the pie-throwing, and try their luck at the fish pond. For the teen-agers, the final event was a record hop where any remaining energy could be “danced off.”
