Student Council The Student Council held its first meeting of the year on September 5th. Previously elected president Sharon Hanson took charge. One of our first projects was the sale of activity tickets. It was quite successful as practically all the stu- dents bought them. A big event for the Council this year was the Student Council Convention. This was held at Crookston, Minnesota on September 28th. Since Ada was the secretary school it really kept us hopping for awhile. In the month of October we were engrossed in plans for the Homecoming festivities. We were able to obtain Robert l-lanson's baud from Grand Forks which helped to bring the entire week to a grand close. At Christmas time we surprised the student body with our hand made nativity scene. Curt Neumanmade the figures and was aided in their painting by Council members. This is a contribution which can be used at A.H.S. for many years to come. These were only a few of the Council projects which made 57-58 a successful year.
