Class of 63 The school year for 1957-58 was the beginning of a new experience for fifty -eight seventh graders. We had trouble on the first day with stuck lockers, lost students, and even vanishing rooms. We were directed back to the right rooms by our advisors, Miss Efteland and Mr. Christianson. The sports activities added much interest to our school life. Seven of the boys went out forfootball on the Junior High team, and basketball, too, offered many opportunities to each of us. The girls found they could take part in GAA and took advantage of this. We had two class parties, a toboganning party and another in the gymnasium. These parties proved to be helpful in helping us meet our fellow classmates. Junior High has been fun but it also has been hard work and a great change to which we had to adapt ourselves. Learning to be on our own is part of growing up and getting ready for Senior High work. Eighth Grade.
