Class of 63 The school year for 1957-58 was the beginning of a new experience for fifty -eight seventh graders. We had trouble on the first day with stuck lockers, lost students, and even vanishing rooms. We were directed back to the right rooms by our advisors, Miss Efteland and Mr. Christianson. The sports activities added much interest to our school life. Seven of the boys went out forfootball on the Junior High team, and basketball, too, offered many opportunities to each of us. The girls found they could take part in GAA and took advantage of this. We had two class parties, a toboganning party and another in the gymnasium. These parties proved to be helpful in helping us meet our fellow classmates. Junior High has been fun but it also has been hard work and a great change to which we had to adapt ourselves. Learning to be on our own is part of growing up and getting ready for Senior High work. Eighth Grade. Class of 62 The eighth grade this year started with an enrollment of sixty students. We found our- selves very much at home in Ada High as school started and smiled as we viewed the seventh graders scurrying around, looking much like we must have looked last year. Thirteen from our class took part in A band, a number of the boys are taking part in athletics and the girls in GAA, so we have now found our place in the schools activities. We are planning on having two class parties during the year. These will be put on with the help of our advisors Miss Sonja Christianson and Mr. Earl Perkins.
