Any Senior who has such an interest may join the local group. The purpose of the group is two-fold. 1. To interest young people in the teaching profession as a career and 2., to help those who have decided to go into the field to learn more a- bout the work of a teacher. FTA members are given the chance to student teach in the grade school or help the high school, but because of the tight schedule ofmost of the members, it has been difficulttowork in any student tea ching. Only two or three meetings were held this year as the organization is new, but the group was fortunate enough to attend a work-shop at Moorhead State College.
