Under the bright, sunny skies of October 7, the twelfth annual PowderpufF game between the junior and senior girls was p]a ed. The seniors stomped the juniors bv a score of 28-16. The juniors were the first to score with a touchdown by Paula Thornton in the first (|uart(T. The seniors bounced back in the second ()uarter vvith touchdowns by Jenny V ' arno and Kerry Lynch. But Heidi Reichart scored another touchdown for the juniors to leave the score tied 14-14 at the half The seniors were down by two after the juniors scored a safet ' in the third cjuarter. But the seniors came back in tlic last Pne minutes of the game with two quick touchdowns, made b ' Jenny ' arno to win the game. Senior coaches were Mr. Bill Betourney and Mr. George Frost. The junior coaches were Mr. Dan Madden and Mr. John N ' acke. Referees of the game were Mr. Paul Yansak, Mr. Tony Papas and Dr. Larrv- McNulty.
