Honor Groups Honor Band and Honor Orchestra are two organizations for extraordinary young musicians. The kids have to audition with the hardest piece of band music called ' Toccata ' , stated Mr. Wolfers- berger, band instructor. This year Actis sent 22 students to the Kern County Hon- or Band and 29 students to the County Honor Orchestra. Student Council consisted of 26 stu- dents selected from each first period class. On a regular basis they met to dis- cuss various ideas and problems to be solved. So far this year they have started a tradition called Dress Up Day which was a great success.
