VARSITY FOOTBALL The Varsity football team had a gratifying season. Despite a near loss to Littlefield, the varsity squad bounced back to win the next six games. Spirits were running high by then so it was hard to swallow the heartbreaking loss to Tabor City the next week, but the Trojans showed their true colors by beating Hallsboro the following week. The Trojan team was made up of seniors who had played together since they were freshmen, therefore proving to be a well meshed team. Among the juniors were Clyde Hill and Greg Webb, whose ability on the field gave them well-deserved respect. The Trojans also were proud to have a good number of players to make All-Conference: Ken Myers, Roger Connor, Larry Freeman, Greg Freeman, and Eric Brewer. All in all the Trojans came out with a winning season at 7-4, and a division 2 play off. Above - Coach Sechrest talked to players during half-time. M A ... ' A 1 1 f-.f .. .
