Hannah Taunton Arthur Young Wanda Ortego Sponsor Photographer Pica People Create New Sections As soon as last year's books were distributed, the old and new members of the 1984-85 staff started on a new book. The staff worked hard selling ads and plan- ning layouts for another successful book. This year's members spent many hours creating new sections in the yearbook including Trends of the '8O's which presented a student survey, ln Pursuit of Cash which spotlighted working seniors, and Senior Profiles which honored outstanding seniors. When the staff wasn't hard at work drawing layouts, taking pictures, and writing copy, they were often searching for new designs that would continue to ensure a contemporary publication for the students of AHS. s Editors for the year were Melodie Arceneaux and Cory Gordon, both three-year veterans on the staff. Not only were they in charge of the senior farewell and pro- file sections, but they also designed the opening section and worked closely with other staff members. Chi Phan handled the staff's finances and served as typist. Heading up photography was Brian Richard, assisted by Sean Hundley and Ar- thur oung. LES MEMOIRES 231
