l 52 Fl-DIVISIGN Engineering R Division are the peo- ple to call when there are problems with leaky toilets, sinks, and showers, as well as, other similar type annoy- ances of life. All are handled by the HT's tHull Techniciansl. DC's qDamage Controlmenl keep the ship's firefighting equipment ready for any emergency. Also, during the deploy- ment, the division completely remod- eled Damage Control Central and the Chief Engineer's office. All of these jobs took planning and lots of hard work on everyone's part. While the ship was on its way to the Persian Gulf and while there, Ft Division was instrumental in issuing CPO suits to the crew, along with the MCU-2P gas masks. Finding storage and making sure everyone received the protective gear kept the division busy for several weeks. All in all, any trouble call submitted to DC Central relating to plumbing on board is fixed by Engineering Fl Division. In addition, ACADIA's fire- fighting abilities are greatly enhanced by the division's professionalism, know edge, and hard work. fftia . - I 4 'V IQ .,g ' 'QQ-34, - E M . g xx.-I ,l Dccivi rsw J. o.
