Foreign merchandise from Rota, Spain was a big hit, as was bot- tled water and boxed juices! Gold and T-shirt vendors were also brought on board to provide the crew access to local merchandise, since liberty was secured. The earlier ship's store renova- tion project paid big dividendsf providing the crew with spacious display windows for viewing the goods and lots of shelf space for merchandising.
