Disney Days was the theme of this year's homecoming. Spirit week started the activities with a bang and heightened the enthusiasm of the students. Everyone's imagination and cre- ativity was especially expressed on Friday, Hal- loween Spook Day. The sophomore skit Snow Irish and the Sev- en Leprechauns took third place. In spite of a strong sophomore effort, the juniors captured second place with Alice in Spiritlandf' The seniors emerged victorious with their skit The Jungle Spirit. Following the unprecedented ex- ample of last year's freshmen, the Class of '82 sang their rendition of It's a Great School. The long hours each class put in were reflected in the excellent presentations. This year's float was fashioned after the Dis- ney Castle, complete with towers and flags. The tremendous efforts put forth by the seniors re- sulted in one of the best floats ever. The homecoming game, although won by the Manual Rams, was highlighted by the presenta- tion of the float, the queen and her court, and the half-time ceremony performed by the pom pon girls to various Disney tunes. The climax of this year's homecoming activi- ties was the dance held at the Bradley Student Center. The couples enjoyed the music of Lam- brusco and the colorful backdrop done by ju- nior Michelle Travers. af iw , L is f i' '11 :- The l978. Homecoming Court appear above.
