Iifomecomin Cheer, Cheer tor Qld Spalding High! Ahl hearken what peaceful sounds we hear. lt's homecoming time! October l7th ushered in a busy weekend. 'lOur class skit is the best class skit became the nagging of the victorious luniors. Their skit, titled Everythings Corning Up Shamrocks, placed them in the winners cir- cle. The Seniors placed second with their ver- sion ot Think Big. The Sophomores trailed in third with their presentation, The Zodiac, us- ing weird-masked gods each ot which repre- sented the spirit ot a Mid-State Eight team. Then came the big night. The Spalding team, true to their Alma Mater, triumphed over Manual, l3 to 7. Hey, look us over! was the cry ot our own Homecoming gueen and her court. On Saturday, Seniors, Iuniors, and Sopho- mores rushed about putting tinishing touches on all their decorations tor the dance. Finally, everything was in readiness and the tirst couples began to arrive. The dance struck its peak with the crowning ot Queen Susie. Then the last dance was over, the hall was desert- ed, the alumni bade farewell. But the memor- ies linger still.
