TO WHCM WE DEDICATE THIS SUMMA Sisters of Saint Ioseph The Sisters ot Saint loseph have labored through three centuries, crowned at intervals with martyrdom ot the guillotine during the French Revolution and during excesses ot World Wars. M-other Saint Iohn Fontbonne sent six sisters to America in l836. They have flourished in the New World and now number l5,202 in the United States, with 2,000 in Canada. From these foundation sisters are now working in Puerto Rico, Hawaiian lslands, Solomon lslands, New Guinea, Australia and Iapan.
