Literary Critic; CAROLYN REISCHL. The purpose of The COURIER was to teach the staff the fundamentals of journalism through work experiences. Each girl was delegated a specific task — be it writing, typing, proofreading copy or preparinga dummy. Know- ing that every little bit helps’ motivated all to do their best to meet deadlines.
