Though professing joy and excite- ment upon entrance to the adult world, we cannot deny our reluctance to depart from the carefree, happy high school days we have known. Together we have developed into well educated, refined young women, instilled with the traditions of Christianity and of our school. We have fond remembrances of our big sisters, Pixies, Inc., and Harvey, of the Sophomore vocation play, of - our Junior Free Day, and of editing the best Gates ever. The Little King with outstretched hand guided and blessed us as we assumed the new dignity of leaders of the school. This last year was appropriately our best and most interest- ing. It is our hope in offering this book to recapture some of the happiness we have had together, we of the class of 1953.
