Glee Club members sing the joys of Christmas during performance of l-lA's December , . . could it be this late already? Before Angels could look forward to well-deserved vacations, they had work to do. Seniors and juniors struggled through College Boards while their little sisters prayed. Mothers and daughters dined at Patricia Murphy's to the serenade of juniors' guitars. The Voice of Christmas echoed through the school as girls initiated a new Christmas tradition at HA. 660D6M fqmyeb Ziyaffceaf January . . . a new year brought new surprises! As seniors excitedly wrote l966 UD on their testpapers, every- one settled down to a frantic preparation for January exams. HA's speech class prepared its entries in the Veterans of Foreign Wars' Voice of Democracy contest, as Spanish students practiced songs and dance routines for an Epiphany assembly, January 6. Basketball games and a second semester of work began. Hopes for a snow- day diminished as the month wore on in unmercifully good weather. After months of careful planning, the Fathers' Club held the annual Journal Dance, at the Neptune lnn. A little samba never hurt anyone- and junior Spanish students only prove that point during their Epiphany as- sembly. New semester-new notebooks! Sally Smithson and Kitty Pindar stock up at the bookstore. Sister Aegidia gives service with a smile. Congratulating Linda Valentine, HA's entry in the Voice of Democracy con- test, are Sister Evelyn Marie, speech instructor, and Mr. Jules Mangano, local coordinator of the VFW.
