November . . . month of the long-awaited Thanksgiving holiday! Report cards were distributed, and soon afterwards parents became acquainted with teachers. Bazaar preparations kept everyone busy- and the results kept everyone happy. Nl-lS inducted new members and later conducted l-lA's first Inter- racial Study Dayg Negro and white students sang together, discussed racial problems, and enjoyed a buffet supper. An impressive silence reigns as Sharon Scully receives the golden tassle, a symbol of her induction, from NHS officers Donna Sticco, Clare Pomar, and Marion Palen. Waiting their turns are Susan Craig, Rose Luvera, Mary Alice Harvey, and Maureen Ullmann. 60 Fortunes Wheel-Mrs. Melesardi and Dr. Bonanno check the wheel as hopeful bazaar patrons pray that Lady Luck smiles on them.
