Story of the Year

Page 60 text:

I think it's a dinosaur's footprint, myself, explains Janet Cooney to Karen Dorney, Pat Goodwin, Mary Farrell, and Kitty Pindar as they explore new areas of the campus. Girls, let's have a party tomorrow! suggests Peggie Geoghegan to lunch partners Donna Sticco, Janet Randon, Clare Pomar, and Connie Ferreira. It doesn't look as if anyone objects, does it? Getting acquainted at the Junior-Frosh party, freshmen Pat Elter and Pat Cooney talk with junior Maureen Fitz- gerald. 56 s E 660' September , . . back to school, but what a school! Pastel lockers and curved corridors matched the summer moods of sun-baked Angels. Seniors as well as frosh needed orientation through the maze of new halls. Mothers' Guild gave a welcome tea, and Fathers' Club inducted new offi- cers and set goals for a busy first year at the new campus. As the month grew shorter, tans began to fade and hair began to darken. Senior SSO members prepared speeches explaining club goals to pro- spective members. September also brought the Bergen Mall County Fair, at which HA copped second prize for sales. By the end of the month, most girls found the new school as friendly a place as Holy Angels, Fort Lee.
