When swollen rivers, choked with grime, Surge forward boasting mighty force, Though ostentatious in their prime, They will be soon by God coerced. When nature, with all larishness, Displays her wealth of flowers and trees, She knows that she must soon confess That our Almighty governs these. I f man now lost in power could know The lesson these examples set, He might relinquish greed and show, And pray that God would sare him yet. --Roy Kitchens.
