BOWLING This is the third year that the Bowling Club has been at Lincoln. The purpose of this club is to promote an active and lasting interest in bowling. It has been a tremendous success to those who attended and supported the outings to many of the bowling alleys. The officers: Pres. Sharon Gil¬ bert; Veep. Bill Gilbert; Sec. Mary Aberin; Treas. Sharon Dolon; Sgt.-at-arms Bob Morris. MATH-SCIENCE This club under the supervision of Mr. Howell, Mr. Anderson, and Mr. Huff has gained know¬ ledge in the field of Math and Science. They have gone on field trips to places such as the beach, listened to various lectures and went to places of interest beneficial to the club.

MASQUE CLUB STAGE CREW The Masque Club has provided a common meeting place for those interested in Drama. Its members participated in the A.S.B. Play and various assemblies. The Stage Crew is working behind the scenes during every activity that takes place in the auditorium. They are responsible for oper¬ ating the lighting and sound equipment, design, construction and painting of all stage scenery. Out¬ standing sets included the ones used in the Sr. Play Mother Is A Freshman, the A.S.B. Play, Twelve Angry People, and various assemblies. Both of these groups are under the direction of Mr. Joseph White. NATIONAL FORENSIC LEAGUE The purpose of this club is to further an interest in organized forensics and to train individuals in the various types of tournaments. The members are outstanding workers in Debate, Oratory and Interpretive Reading. Activities: the members of N.F.L. have participated in the many speech tourn¬ aments—the San Diego State open, Cal Western, the San Diego and Chaffey Student Congress and both the San Diego State and U.S.C. State qualifying tournaments. Officers: Pres. Judy Smith; Veep. Carol Hanna; Sec-Treas. Anita Bell.

RIOT SQUAD The activities of this vivacious group have been directed toward furthering and strengthening Lincoln ' s pep and school spirit. Some of their activities have been: decorating for games, forming card formations at football games, selling beat ribbons, and of course, yelling loudly at all games. The Drill Units, the Pep Band, and the Song and Cheerleaders are integral parts of the Riot Squad. Officers are: Pres. Yvonne Powdrill; Veep. Jim Moore; Sec-Treas. Yolanda Lopez. Mr. Patoff is their sponsor. BIBLE CLUB The Bible Club has come a long way since its origin in 1956. Its purpose is to meet the needs of Christian young people who like to assemble for fun, fellowship, inspirational singing, and devo¬ tion. Their many activities have included a Breakfast, an assembly featuring the Four Flats, painting trash cans around campus, and listening to various guest speakers. The Officers are: Pres. Harold Boyd; 1st Veep. Doug Reid; 2nd Veep. John Coyle; Sec. Emalee Byron; Pub. Chair¬ man Pam Gorton and Carolyn Carmack. Their sponsor is Mr. Dickenson. i
