HORNET HUSTLERS This is the second year at Lincoln for the Hornet Hustlers. It is an A.S.B. Service Club, their purpose is to publicize the school activities by means of eye-catching posters. They meet every week¬ end in the homes of those in the club. They did a terrific job on the posters for the A.S.B. Play. The officers are: Pres. Gerry Kruske; Veep. Val Riolo; Sec. Peggy Rankin. LANCERS Every home football and basketball game found the Lancers in their ditsinctive green and white jackets selling and taking tickets at entrance gates, working in concession stands, and as¬ sisting faculty members and special police guards. This enthusiastic group has given support to all major school activities. Membership in the Lancers is open to anyone interested in service to Lincoln High. The officers are: Pres. Barbara Yamamoto; Veep. Jo Haile; Sec. Jean Sanderson. Mr. Dick¬ enson is the sponsor. ,1

ADELPHIANS The Adelphians is a group of girls who give their time to render school and community service, and to encourage school spirit. A B average and many service points are required for member¬ ship in the Adelphians. Some of the projects have been making toy dolls and quiet books for a chil¬ dren ' s orphanage, making Easter baskets for the County hospital, assisting the Junior Blind, and selling Longjohns at track meets. The officers are: Pres. Meridel Ashby; Veep. 1st Semester, Pat Orbke; 2nd Semester, Judy Smith; Sec. Diane Montgomery; Treas. Carol Hanna. EXECUTIVES The Executives were organized last year to help provide an opportunity for all Presidents of Clubs and Classes to meet. They discuss problems and activities. Through this club all the Clubs and Classes are united with the A.S.B. Council. The Commissioner of Affiliated Clubs, Pat Rodvold, is in charge of this group. 4

MASQUE CLUB STAGE CREW The Masque Club has provided a common meeting place for those interested in Drama. Its members participated in the A.S.B. Play and various assemblies. The Stage Crew is working behind the scenes during every activity that takes place in the auditorium. They are responsible for oper¬ ating the lighting and sound equipment, design, construction and painting of all stage scenery. Out¬ standing sets included the ones used in the Sr. Play Mother Is A Freshman, the A.S.B. Play, Twelve Angry People, and various assemblies. Both of these groups are under the direction of Mr. Joseph White. NATIONAL FORENSIC LEAGUE The purpose of this club is to further an interest in organized forensics and to train individuals in the various types of tournaments. The members are outstanding workers in Debate, Oratory and Interpretive Reading. Activities: the members of N.F.L. have participated in the many speech tourn¬ aments—the San Diego State open, Cal Western, the San Diego and Chaffey Student Congress and both the San Diego State and U.S.C. State qualifying tournaments. Officers: Pres. Judy Smith; Veep. Carol Hanna; Sec-Treas. Anita Bell.
