CALIFORNIA SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION The purpose of this organization is to foster a higher standard of scholarship and broader ideals of service on the part of the students at Lincoln High School. To be eligible for membership, a record of good citizenship must be maintained, as well as a ten point average signifying academic excellence, and recognized service effort. Upon qualifying for C.S.F. four out of six semesters—-one semester must be in the Senior year— the member becomes a Sealbearer and is awarded life membership. Activities included presentation of “Mystic Madness, participation in field excursion, and Ditch Day. Officers: 1st Sem¬ ester: Pres. Rod Dillon; Veep. Judy Smith; Sec. Jo Haile; Treas. Mrs. Agnew Judy Smith Carol Hanna Judy Owashi MARY KATHRYNS The Mary Kathryns were organized to recognize senior girls who have shown outstanding leadership, scholastic ability, and school service. It is considered a privilege and an honor to belong to this organization where the standards are set at a point where only the deserving are admitted. This is a service organization and performs such duties as helping needy societies and promoting fellowship among the students. The MK ' s is limited to fifteen girls and newly selected members are initiated by an appropriate ceremony at an assembly. ADELPHIANS The Adelphians is a group of girls who give their time to render school and community service, and to encourage school spirit. A B average and many service points are required for member¬ ship in the Adelphians. Some of the projects have been making toy dolls and quiet books for a chil¬ dren ' s orphanage, making Easter baskets for the County hospital, assisting the Junior Blind, and selling Longjohns at track meets. The officers are: Pres. Meridel Ashby; Veep. 1st Semester, Pat Orbke; 2nd Semester, Judy Smith; Sec. Diane Montgomery; Treas. Carol Hanna. EXECUTIVES The Executives were organized last year to help provide an opportunity for all Presidents of Clubs and Classes to meet. They discuss problems and activities. Through this club all the Clubs and Classes are united with the A.S.B. Council. The Commissioner of Affiliated Clubs, Pat Rodvold, is in charge of this group. 4
