COUNCIL The A.S.B. Council for the year 1959-60 was made up of both ap¬ pointed and elected officers. This group of students worked diligently to maintain the high standards of scholastic achievement, good citizenship, and to promote school spirit. Some of the Council ' s projects this year have been: Hello Hop, Second Annual Homecoming, Fifth Annual Nominating Convention, A.S.B. Ball ( One Autumn Night ), A.S.B. Play, Green and White Day, and Bermuda Day. We should give our sincerest thanks for their efforts and their hard work this year. Jim Thompson A.S.B. President As leader of the A.S.B. Council, Jim Thompson has given a boost to the spirit at Lincoln. His cheerful personality has brightened the halls of our school and his friend¬ liness has followed him through his school years. The students of Lincoln owe him a real vote of thanks for his fine leadership this year.

Some of their activities have been: Sadie Hawkins Dance ( Barnyard Bounce ), Green and White Ball ( Ebb Tide ), elec¬ tion of Miss Lincoln, and many project parties. Each month the Emerald Debs select an outstanding- girl for Girl of the Month, and this year they are giving a scholarship to two deserving Senior girls. We wish to extend our thanks to all of those on the Emerald Deb Council for the year 1959-60.
