Spreading spirit at the sopho- more activities was the major goal of the Sophomore Cheer- leaders. The Cheerleaders were chosen from various southside junior highs, last spring. During the summer they at- tended practices and learned traditional Lincoln cheers, taught by the Varsity squad. Under the aid of captain Betty Kocppl, the girls attended wrestling meets, and football and basketball games, throughout the 75-76 school year. By cheering at these activities, they helped back their sophomore team to a successful season.
