Pancake Snak aAt - 1966 - The annual Pancake Breakfast, held the first Saturday in December, was again a tre- mendous success. Teachers worked as chefs and busboys to provide hungry Lincolners with sausage and pancakes. The greatest attraction, besides seeing Mr. Bowen clad in a white apron and chef ' s hat, was the nearly completed gym and newly remodeled classrooms. Dr. Dwight Davis, Superintendent of Schools, demonstrates his loyalty at Lincoln ' s annual pancake breakfast.

£tu ient (frterHtnent . . . foetnecracif J}h rfctich Student Council provides leadership and promotes all major activities at Lincoln High. Composed of representatives from every homeroom, the council enables the student body to air their views and give suggestions for social activities. Enthusiasm and energy abounded in this year ' s council. New organizational committees begun this year were the Coordinat- ing Committee, Finance Committee, and Mixer Committee. The Coordination Committee organized the school calendar to prevent activities from conflicting. Selling ribbons, home- coming buttons, and mums, the Finance Committee was responsible for sales. After game mixers provided entertainment for everyone with music provided by combos. The mixers in the remodeled girls ' gym were a tremendous success and will be continued next year. Other projects included the second annual Snow Ball Dance, the purchase of a spot-light with multicolored lenses for assemblies and the drama department, and collecting over $600 worth of Friendship Bonds to bring foreign exchange students to Lincoln.
