Principal Melvin J. Bowen The knowledge and vision of many people are involved in the complicated process of education today. The world grows more complicated and the prep- aration of the young grows more fran- tic each year. The leadership exerted by the Super- intendent Dr. Dwight Davis and his staff, the School Board, and more directly, Mr. Melvin Bowen, principal, becomes even more vital as each year brings more and more problems and responsibilities. We don ' t always feel this hand of leadership, but know of its strength and that without it there would be very little learning and no progress. fldtn ' mUttathn . . . ieafo The Waif Mr. Melvin Bowen receives his Railsplitter from Debbie Davis and Pat McCutcheon, Railsplitter carrier salesmen.
