1965-66 A structure stands in winter cold Its arches bright, with sunlight-told It symbolizes the hopes of years A promise fulfilled as completion nears A dream that has starred in every heart Are dreams that are built in every part A new addition to our cherished school A shining gym and swimming pool. Not only physically have we grown But greater skills we ' ve never known. Classes evolved to explore new mysteries New English, math, and Russian History. A year of growth has come and gone It has left us loyal, proud and strong WeVe stood our ground and passed the test. The motivation and dynamic impetus of Lincoln High comes from its enlarged faculty. Always concerned and ready to guide and advise, our faculty is a group of highly trained men and women, capable of understanding, eager to aid, and quick to praise. This year, 1965-66, Lincoln has grown tremendously in Faculty and Academics. Additions to the curricu- lum, Russian History and ASP English, have added much to Lincoln ' s growth this year. Mrs. Erna Bevington teaches Q cIqss in the language laboratory. Mr. Wendell Stone reaches for chemicals to prepare an experiment. Left: Senior counselor, Virgil Fox, consults with counselee.
