An understanding of our world neighbors is essential if we wish to maintain peaceful condi¬ tions in the world. Foreign language students are attempting to develop this under¬ standing on a level where it will be most effective, the language of the people of the world. Members of the Russian Club prepare to sample some native dishes at their annual banquet. Concentration to the utmost is revealed by students using the language lab. Relishing the delicacies of French cuisine is an opportunity not to be overlooked. — 9 —
