La Monte Combs . . . La Monte was a member of the foot- ball squad and the baseball team for three years, and received letters in both his junior and senior years. He was a member of Lettermen Club for two years. In 12A La Monte served on the Informal committee. Ambition: To enter the Air Force or attend college. Judy Conner . . . Judy served on Library Staff for two years. Her ]x em was accepted in the National Poetry Contest. Out- side of school she was a member of the girls trio at church. In her senior year she served on the Cap and Gown Committee. Ambition: To go to college. Theresa Cotrone . . . Theresa served as a monitor during her sophomore year. She was a member of Homemaking staff in eleventh grade and Library staff in twelfth. Theresa was a member of the (let-Together committee in her senior year. Susan Irene Cox . . . Sue was a member of Future Nurses for two years, Leaders Club, Pep Club, and Y-Teens for one year. She appeared in Behind This Mask, and prompted for We Were Young That Year, ' and Design For Mu r- der. Susan served on the Nurse ' s staff of the Banquet committee in 12 A. Outside of school Sue was a member of the Girl Scouts and served as president of the Council. Linda Pauline Crandall . . . Linda was a member of the Distri- butive Education Club of America for one year. In her senior year she served on the Commencement An- nouncements committee. Richard Cuevas . . . In his senior year Richard served on the Get Together committee. Dennis Edwin Davis . . . Denny was a member of Lettermen Club for two years, and was elected vice president in his senior year. He was elected to the All State Foot- ball Team in twelfth grade. He won two letters in football, and two in track, and also went out for swim- ming. A member of Student Coun- cil, Denny also served as a monitor and gym leader. In 12A Denny was awarded a certificate of merit by the Soroptomist Club for being a finalist in the Polk County Essay contest. Among the five finalists for Home- coming King, Denny was also sports editor of the Railsplitter. Ambition: To attend Central College. Diane Lee Davis . . . Diane was a member of the Dorian Art Club for three years, and served as secretary for two years. She was also on the Art staff for three years, and served on the Student Council in twelfth grade. In 12 A Diane was a member of the Banquet committee. Ambition: To attend Americana School of Beauty. Richard Lee Davis . . . Dick participated in wrestling and football during his sophomore year. He was a member of D.E.C.A. and served on the Informal committee in his senior year. Ambition: To attend college. Sharon Ann Davis . . . Sharon attendee! Agency High be- fore coming to Lincoln. While at Agency, she lettered in girls basket- ball. At Lincoln, she was a member f French Club and on the Hospital- ity Committee for two years. In her senior year she was vice president of the French Club, a member of Stu- dent Council and a monitor. She served on the Baccalaureate commit- tee. Ambition: To attend the State Col- lege of Iowa and become a physi- cal education teacher. — 19-

Esther Ellen Caldwell . . . Esther was a member of Dorian Art Club and Office Staff. She helped behind the scenes of two plays : We Were Young That Year and Junior Miss. She participated in radio and was a monitor in eleventh grade. In her senior year she served on the Banquet Committee and worked in the school ' s Lost and Found depart- ment. Outside school she was a member of Junior Achievement. Ambition: To attend the Americana Academy of Beauty. Robert Paul Campbell . . . Ambition: To become a carpenter. Charles Aaron Cantrell Jr. . . . Outside of school, Charles belongs to the Air National Guard. Ambition: To Income a jet mechanic. Lucy P. Carra . . . Lucy served on the Commencement Announcements committee in her senior year. Sara Elisabeth Casady . . . Betsy was a member of Science club, Glee club, Pep club. Mermaids, and Leaders club. She participated in the marching band and school or- chestra. Betsy received honors for being runner-up in the merit schol- arship contest. In journalism she was Assignment Editor of the Green- horn and Feature Editor of the Kail- splitter. Betsy served on the Infor- mal committee in her senior year. Ambition: Go to college and become a bio-chemist. Ralph Andrew Catron, Jr. . . . Andy was elected vice president of D.E.C.A. in his senior year. He was a Student Council representative for three semesters, and a gym monitor for one semester. In 12 A he served on the Informal committee. Ambition : To become an apprentice mm poser for the Register and Tri- bune. Carol ( ' base . . . Carol served Lincoln as a gym leader, a member of the Office staff and worked in the supply room for three years. She was a member of Future Nurses, and sang in the Senior Choir for three years. In 12A, Car- ol was co-chairman of the Banquet committee. Ambition: To attend Drake or a school of medical technology. Anne Marie Cipale . . . Anne was a member of Girls Glee Club in her senior year. Outside of school she was in a church youth or- ganization. In her senior year she served on the Prom Committee. Ambition: To join the Waves. Ronald L. Cochran . . . Ron served on the Hospitality and Usher Committee for three years, and was a member of the Student Council for two years. He was a member of Latin Club in tenth grade and was a monitor in his senior year. Ron participated in basketball in his sophomore year and football in his junior year. In his senior year he served on the Prom Committee. Ambition: To attend Iowa State Uni- versity. John Cole . . . Ambition: To attend college. — 18—

Wilford Carl Davis . . . Wilford participated in wrestling and was a monitor in his senior year. Before coming to Lincoln. Wilford attended Moulton Udell Community School and participated in a year and a half of baseball. In his senior year he served on the Cap and Gown Committee. Ambition: To attend A.I.B. Business College. Lola Jolene Dray . . . Jolene participated in three school ,.|;ivs. Behind This Mask, ••Design For Murder, and Junior Miss. She was in the Future Teachers Club Leaders Club, Pep Club, Nurses Club, Drama Club and homeroom represen- tative to Girls Club. In tenth and eleventh grades she was a monitor and in twelfth grade she was on Nurses ' staff. Outside of school, Jo- leen was in Rainbow, where she was Drill Master, and held the Chair of Charity. Jolene served on the Get- Together committee. Ambition: To attend the Americana School of Cosmetology. Linda Lue Duncan . . . Linda served as a hall monitor for one semester. In her senior year she served on the Stenographic commit- tee. Outside of school she was I member of her church M.Y.F. Ambition: To become a secretary- Richard H. Edwar ds . . . Richard was a gym leader in twelfth grade. During his senior year he served on the Cap and Gown Com- mittee. Ambition: To get a good job. Donna Mae Elliott . . . In her junior year Donna participat- ed in girls softball and basketball. She was a member of D.E.C.A. Out- side of school Donna participated in Junior Achievement and was a mem- ber of Theta Rho. In her senior year she served on the Class Day committee. Linda Kaye Evans . . . Linda was a member of Dorian Art Club, F.T.A., and Leaders Club for three years. She was on the Hospi- tality and Usher committee for two years, and in twelfth grade wan vice president of Girls Club. She was a member of Student Council for three years and served as secretary in twelfth grade. Linda went out for tennis for three years, earning two letters. In her junior year she was a member of the Younkers Teen Board. She was a candidate for Homecoming Queen and Polio Queen in her senior year. She served as feature editor of the Railsplitter. In 12 A Linda was a member of the Banquet committee. Ambition: To attend I.S.U. Sally Jane Evans . . . Sally was a member of Future Teach- ers for three years, and was elected treasurer in her senior year. She was also a member of the Health Careers Club for three years, and served on the Nurse ' s staff. A mem- ber of Pep Club for two years, Sally went out for tennis in her sophomore and junior years. In her senior year Sally served on the Prom committee. Ambition: To attend Northwest Mis- souri State Teachers College. Larry E. Farr . . . Larry played basketball for one sem- ester, and football for two. He was a Student Council representative in tenth grade and a monitor for four semesters. Larry was on the honor roll for two years. In his senior year, Larry served on the Get To- gether committee. Ambition: To become a specialist in photography. Carolyn Jean Fagen ... , Carolyn was in two school plays Junior Miss, and Design For Mur- der, ' ' and helped on We Were Young That Year. She was a member of the Nurse ' s staff for two semesters and in her senior year was a home- room representative for Girls Club. Ambition: To become a successful psychiatrist or psychiatric social worker. Judy Kay Fedro . . . In eleventh grade Judy participated in Pep Club, and during her senior year she was a member of the Home- making staff. In 12A she served on the Prom committee.
