Clark Brent Duncan . . . Clark can always be found happy and friendly. He has participated in Senior Chorus, Boys Glee Club and is a member of the Methodist Youth Fellowship. He served on the Class Day Committee. His hobbies are hunting- and fishing- Ambition : Attend Iowa State and study forestry. Roger Alan Durham . . . His artistic ability kept this hand- some boy active at Lincoln. He par- ticipated In baseball and football one semester. He was a member of the Dorian Art Club, Service Homeroom 117, and has been a monitor. Roger has received several Scholastic Art Awards and served on the Get To- gether Committee. His hobbies in- clude art and all sports. Ambition: Attend Northeast Mis- souri State Teachers College and study art. Gerald V. Eggers . . . Ambition: Enter the Marine Corps. Vickie Ann Ellis . . . Happiness and a love for laughter are characteristics of Vickie. She has worked on the Homecoming Staff and Banquet Committee. As a Dis- tributive Education student, she is employed at Wolf ' s. She also belongs to the Distributive Education Club, where she has served as Tico pr wl dent. Ambition : Become an assistant buy- er for Wolf ' s Department Store. Roy Ka Fa u bus . . . Roosevelt ' s loss was Lincoln ' s gain when Ray came to Lincoln in eleventh grade. He is known to all for his musical ability, by leading a five boy instrumental group, called The Strikes. While in Lincoln, Ray has been a member of Band, Radio Club, Student Council, and was on the Class Day Committee. He has served as president of homeroom and Radio Club. His hobbies include amateur radio and music. Ambition : Attend Drake and major in business administration or phar- macy. Gary Finch . . . Gary came to Lincoln from Norwalk, where he participated in track and chorus, and received letters in each. He participated in the City Wide Dis- aster Drill during his senior year. His hobbies are hunting and fishing. Ambition : Attend Grandview Col- lege. Donna Marie Fisher . . . Happy go lucky, with a warm smile are Donna ' s traits. Donna has served three semesters in both Leaders Club and the Student Council and was on the Commencement Committee. She has participated in the Drill Team, and outside of school she belongs to the C.Y.O. Donna enjoys both swim- ming and bowling. Ambition: Become a stenographer. Kim Fletcher . . . Kim ' s enthusiastic spirit has won him much popularity at Lincoln. In athletics, he has participated in foot- ball and basketball for two years, and swimming for one year. In his senior year he served on the Get Together Committee. Kim is known as Lincoln ' s Great White Hunter for during last summer he traveled throughout Europe, and toured Afri- ca by safari. His favorite pastime is cars. Ambition : Attend college and study law. Don David Foreman . . . Don has a warm smile for everyone. He has participated in football, bas- ketball, track, and golf. He has re- ceived two letters in golf. His favor- ite hobby is golf. Ambition: Attend Iowa State and study architecture. Richard Albert Foust . . . A quiet manner is the trade mark of this artist. Dick belonged to the Dorian Art Club and Art Staff. In the Scholastic Art Contest he re- ceived two honorable mentions and a gold key. He worked on the 1960 Homecoming Symbol, the hall mural, and served on the Class Day Commit- tee. He has participated in football, Junior Band, and was vice-president of his homeroom. Jud Ann Cowie . . . Judy ' s friendliness and cleverness placed her in many important of- fices. She served as president of Girls Club, Office Staff, chairman of the Program Committee of the Girls Club, secretary of homeroom, and columnist of the Railsplitter. Judy has also participated in Junior and Senior Chorus, Girls Glee Club, Radio and Speech. Office Staff, Stu- dent Council for three semesters, and tennis. During her senior year she was chosen a cheerleader in which she received a letter, and she served on the Banquet Committee- Her fa- vorite hobbies include swimming, bowling, and playing tennis. Ambition: To graduate from college. Dennis Albert Crawford . . . Dennis has contributed much to Lin- coln through his artistic ability. He has received one gold key and one honorable mention, and entered the Scholastic Art Contest this year. He has been on the honor roll twice, and served on Class Day Committee. In sports Dennis has participated in baseball, and bowling. Archery, and art crafts are Dennis ' hobbies. Ambition: Attend Iowa State Uni- versity. Gary Dean Crees . . . Gary ' s witty and friendly disposition marks him as an AU-American boy. He has contributed much to athletics by participating in football, basket- ball, and baseball. He received one monogram in each sport and was chosen co-captain of the basketball team. He received honorable mention on the honor roll and was chosen for the Younker ad and cap and gown picture. He was a Homecoming at- tendant and sports editor of the Senior Railsplitter. During his senior year he had the honor of being chosen vice-president of his class. Ambition: Attend Northeast Missouri State Teachers College. Nelson L. Cunningham . . . Scholastically and athletically, Nel- son is tops. For four years, he has been on the honor roll. He placed ninth in the Iowa State Drafting Contest, and the Kiwanian of Feb- ruary. He was president and treas- urer of the Latin Club for two se- mesters, Y.F.C. Club, and served on the Baccalaureate Committee in his senior year Nelson served in Stu- dent Council for two years and was candidate for both president and vice-president. He participated in wrestling, cross country running, and track. He received three mono- grams for cross country, and two for track. Ambition: Attend Wheaton Bible College, the S.U.I.. and become a medical missionary. Barbara Lee Curley . . . Barb has contributed much pep, drive and school spirit to Lincoln. She received two monograms in cheerleading, and during her senior year she was chosen captain. She belonged to Pep Club, Leaders Club, Social Committee, and the Prom Committee. Barb was a member of the Senior Chorus and was selected for Madrigal and All-State Chorus. She received honorable mention in the Hallmark Art Award and be- longed to the Dorian Art Club and the Art Staff. She also represented Lincoln for the Younker Teen Board. Her biggest thrill was being a 1960 Homecoming Attendant. Ambition: Attend Oklahoma City University. Allen L. Dickes . . . Intelligence and leadership blended together has placet! Allen in the finals of the National Merit Scholar- ship test. Allen has been on the hon- or roll three years and has served on the Commencement Committee. He was chosen for the high office of president of the Student Council during his senior year, and was also president of the Latin Club. He has participated in sports and has re- ceived a letter in spring track and cross country. Ambition : Attend I.S.U. and major in chemical engineering. James Philip Diemer . . . Jim ' s swimming ability has con- tributed much to Lincoln. He has participated in swimming and track and has received two monograms in each. He belonged to Senior Band and was a member of the Banquet Committee. Among his favorite hob- bies are swimming and ice-skating. Ambition: Attend Drake University and major in education. Antoinette DiSalvo . . . Sincere and understanding are Toni ' s character traits. She has participated in Girls Glee Club, and Junior Chorus. She was a member of Lead- ers Club, Informal Committee, Of- fice Staff and served on the Execu- tive Board of the Girls Club. Toni ' s hobbies include swimming and bowl- ing. Ambition : Attend Americana Beau- ty School. Betty Jeane Doughman . . . While in school Betty has repre- sented Lincoln very proudly, being a D.E.C.A. student at Younkers. She served on the Commencement An- nouncement Committee in her senior year. Outside of school she belonged to Rainbow and enjoys bowling, swimming, and ice-skating. Ambition: Attend a beauty school. John E. Dowell . . . John ' s friendly attitude toward ev- eryone has made him very popular at Lincoln. He has participated in wrestling and football in which he received two letters. In his senior year he was on the Prom Commit- tee. Ambition: Attend Northwest Mis- souri State College.

She was a member of Home- making: Staff. M.Y.F., Class Day Committee and was homeroom sec- retary. She helped serve at the past 12A Baccalaureate Committee, and the Class Day Committee. Her hob- bies include roller skating: and sew- ing:. Ambition: Attend Thompson ' s School of Beauty. David William Graham . . . David has a nice way about him that is known so well. He has served as a cashier in the school cafeteria for two years. He has served on the Usher Committee in which he was a chairman. He was also on the Class Day Committee. Ambition: Attend Grand View and major in business. Madeline Rose Graziano . . . A happy smile and personality de- scribes Madeline. She has been a member of Pep Club, Girls Glee Club, and Junior and Senior Chorus. She has served on Senior Student Council, Secretarial Staff, and the Banquet Committee. Madeline helped on the Lincoln Student Directory as a member of the Girls Club Finance Committee. During: her senior year she was a candidate for Polio Queen. Her hobbies include cooking:, swim- ming; and badminton. Ambition: Secure a stenographic position or attend a cosmetology school. James Robert Greenleaf . . . Quiet, with a warm personality de- scribes Bob. He has participated in basketball and golf. He was sports editor of the Greenhorn and worked on the sports column for the Rail- splitter. He also served on the Get Together Committee. Bob was a member of Band, and was placed on All-City Band. His favorite hobby ; s music. Ambition: Attend Drake. John H. Gunson . . . John ' s cleverness of thought and in- tellect has won him many honors. During: his senior year he was chosen class president by the 12A ' s. He was among; the top ten in the State Drafting Contest at Iowa State Uni- versity. He has been on the honor roll, and was president of homeroom. He has participated in football, bas- ketball, and spring; track. He rep- resented Lincoln at the Second Na- tional Youth Conference on the atom in Chicago. His hobbies art- hunting and fishing. Ambition: Attend Iowa State Uni- versity and take architecture. Jerry Donald Haldeman . . . Friendliness will well describe Jer- ry ' s personality. He belonged to Jun- ior Achievement and was vice-presi- dent of his Junior Achievement Com- pany. He was a member of the Get Together Committee and has served as a monitor. He enjoyed taking Russian in school, and in his spare time he collects stamps. Ambition: Attend Parsons or Simp- son College and major in Spanish and Russian. James X. Hall . . . A friendly and witty disposition is apparent when Jim ' s around. He has been a member of band for five years, and a member of the swim- ming team for two years. He was secretary and treasurer of home- room, and helped in building the 1960 Homecoming Symbol. He also served on the Commencement Com- mittee. Outside of school he belongs to DeMolay and National Guard. Ambition: Attend Central College. Robert C. Hall . . . Speeches, humor, and a warm smile are Bob ' s characteristics. He has placed 1st and 2nd in various speech contests. He was a member of Ra- dio Class, Student Council, DeMolay. and National Guard. He has received a letter in football and has partici- pated in wrestling. He has served as secretary of homeroom and radio class, and was on the Class Day Committee. His favorite sport is football. Ambition: Attend Central College or Iowa State College. Barbara Jean Hammond . . . A smile always and pretty eyes de- scribe Barbara. She has maintained good grades in her six years at Lin- coln, and received honorary men- tion on the honor roll. In her senior year she helped on the Commence- m e n t Announcement Committee. Outside of school she enjoys swim- ming and skating. Ambition: To live in Arizona. Sally Ann Hardenbrook . . . Sally ' s red hair and gaiety are among her many qualities. She belonged to the Drill Team, Pep Club, Office Staff, and was historian of the D.E.C.A. Club. During her senior year she was chosen Miss Deca Sweetheart of 1961. She helped on the school play with make up, and served on the Get Together Commit- tee. Sally ' s main hobbies include swimming and horseback riding. Ambition: Attend Thompson ' s Beau- ty School, taking cosmetology.
