Katherine Royleen Collins . . . A pretty little brunette with snappy brown eyes and a smile that attracts all, describes Koyleen. Roy, as she is known to her friends. Carolyn. Joyce, Kay, Sharon and Mary, has kept herself very busy with swim- ming. Roy came to Lincoln from Sacred Heart School in Sioux City, where she was an active member of the chorus. She also belonged to the jfirl ' s tennis team and was a top srirl on the bowlinjr team. Outside of school, Royleen was a member of Junior Achievement. Graduatins: from A.L.H.S. will prove to be this jrirl ' s biggest thrill. Ambition: To be a successful social worker. Nancy i ynn Copic . . . Nancy is an attractive little lass with pretty sparkling eyes and a bright smile. Joss, Browning, Statler, Brad- ley and Scag are just a few of the many friends Nancy can be seen with. It seems that this girl ' s big- gest thrill is yet to come. Nancy says that three of her favorite hob- bies are water skiing, boating and Bill and she claims her talents are water skiing and boating. Ambition : To make my loved ones proud of me, especially Bill. Janis Marie Crandall . . . Janis is a lively little girl with a sweet smile. Her talents center around the art department as Janis was a member of Dorian Art Club. The home economics staff has been fortunate to have Janis as a member. Her hobbles are skating, drawing and sewing. She claims that painting and drawing are her only talents. Miss Moroney and Mr. Hoffman rate tops on her list of teachers. Karen, Mar- garet, Beverly and Linda are just a few of her many friends. Ambition: To be the first in my family to graduate. Richard William Croll . . . Dick is a good looking boy who can be seen most of the time with Roger, Albert, Steve and Chuck. He has been out for wrestling and says his hobby is painting. Dick ' s biggest thrills are having week ends away from school. In senior high, Dick has been in Dorian Art Club and a member of art service homeroom for two years. He has received recogni- tion for honors in the Scholastic Art Contest and designed the Senior Rail cover. This active young man has also served on student council two years. Dick claims art and shops are his only talents and his favorite teachers are Mr. Hoffman and Miss Scanlan. Ambition: To attend colle re and vret a good job. Ronald Eugene Crouse . . . A nice fellow with snappy black eyes and a smile that is a pleasure to see, describes Ron. This young man ' s main interest has been cen- tere l around room l. ' i9, Mr. Hoff- man ' s art class. Ronald was hon- oretl by being president of applie i art club. His hobbies are horseback riding, swimming and sleeping. While walking to his favorite class, which is art, Ron can usually be seen with Jeanette, Janet, Barbara, Norman and John. He claims his talents are learning the theatre business. My biggest thrill is yet to come, stated Ronnie. Ambition: To make my parents and Jeanette proud of me. Roberta Ann Cuevas . . , This cute girl claims that dancing, riding around, listening to music and collecting baby alligators are just a few of her many hobbies. She is also a member of St. Anthony ' s Catholic Youth Organization. Mr. Wood rated high as her favorite teacher and typ- ing is her best liked subject. Rober- ta ' s favorite song seems to be You ' ve (Jot What It Takes. She can be seen with Rosie, Paulette, Di- ane, Pearl. Janet and the rest of the gang. (Jraduation will be Roberta ' s biggest thrill. Ambition: To live in California and be successful in whatever I do. Sandra Louise De Leon . . . Sandy is a sweet girl who has a kind word for all of her fellow stu- dents. She claims her biggest thrill was coming to Lincoln in tenth grade. Sandy has been a credit to Lincoln with her outstanding talent in music. She is a member of con- cert, marching and pit band. This musically inclined girl was also a member of senior chorus and girls glee club. Sandy was greatly hon- ored to be chosen to play in the All- City Band. This honor roll student has served on student council one semester. Her hobbies are skating, swimming and riding around with Angi, Karen and the rest of the gang. Playing the Oboe and g etting stuck in the snow seems to be this girl ' s talent. Ambition : To be the best long-dis- tance operator Bell Telephone ever had. Diane Elizabeth Devin . . . An attractive brunette, a pretty smile and a j)ersonality that is tops, de- scribes Diane. This intelligent girl was honored when she received a 98 I)ercent on merit scholarship tests. Diane was a member of the English seminar and the journalism lepart- ment chose her to be editor of the newspaper. Diane has many hobbies but the only one she cared to mention was bowling. My one and only talent seems to be getting stuck in the snow, she stated. Diane has been vice-president and secretary on the library staff and has served on student council two semesters, ( ' hristy. Norma, Darlene, Janet, Car- ole and Eileen are a few of Diane ' s friencls. Outside of school this busy lass found time to belong to J. A. and 4-H. Ambition : To do whatever I do suc- cessfully. Margaret Kathryn Devine . . . This attractive girl with big brown eyes is better known to everyone as Kay. She can be seen with Sand , Carolyn and Bill. Kay was a mem- ber of secretarial staff and held the office of president of this staff. She also served on student council, one year in junior high and one year in senior high. Kay is an active mem- ber of Junior Achievement. She claims that her talents are well hid- den and one of her many hobbies is bowling. Her most embarrassing moment was a sunburn she got last summer. Kay ' s biggest thrill will be trraduation. Ambition: To go to college and make those I love proud of me. Sharon Kay Downard . . . A charming girl with a sparkling personality and a friend of all, de- scribes Sharon. Among the many friends she can be seen with are Joyce, Paula, Sharon and Linda. Sharon enjoys skating, dancing and driving, but she claims her talents have not been found as yet. This in- telligent gill was honored to be on the twelfth grade honor roll. The student council was also fortunate to have Sharon serve for one semes- ter. She is an active member of teen club. Sharon says her biggest thrill is yet to come. Sharon Faye Carter . . . This pretty blond came to Lincoln from Norwalk where she participated in glee club, basketball, softball. prolf and also served as a majorette, Sharon can be seen with Nancy, Diane. Pat, Karen, Janette and Kay. Her hobbies are dancing and eatin r and she says her bijjfKest thrill will be to prraduate. She claims her tal- ents are hidden. Homemakin is her favorite subject and Miss Moroney is her favorite teacher. Ambition: To become a beauty opera- tor and make my parents proud of me. David W. Caskey . . . Dave, as he is known to all his friends, enjoys all sports and has been out for football and basketball. He has also appeared in five school plays. He says his talents are well hidden and claims his most em- barrassing moment occurred after a homecoming dance in a restaurant when he discovered he had no money. During his passing periods, lunch hour and after school Dave can be seen with Danny. John and Denny. He claims his biggest thrill is yet to come. Ambition : To get a good job and take a six months vacation twice a year. Larry Earl Cheer.s . . . Larry, very nice and rather quiet, came to Lincoln fiom Norwalk in his junior year. Larry has many inter- ests but the shops seem to keep him the busiest. A favorite pastime of this young man is working on cars and his favorite subject is auto mechanics. Russell Gibbel, Everett Lawrence and Doug (iraham are a few of Larry ' s many friends. Eat- ing and fixing motors are just two of this lad ' s many talents, while hunting is his favorite hobby. In the future Larry hopes to find his biggest thrill. Ambition : To become an auto me- chanic and travel. Sharon Lee Chiodo . . . Sharon is a lively girl with pretty black hair. Sharon came to Lincoln from Nathan Weeks. She has many friends which include Jeanne N.. Judy B., Karen H., Marie N. and tharon A. Sharon ' s hobbies are dancing, bowling and skating. She served on Student Council for one semester in senior high. She is also a member of Junior Achievement and Achievers Association. Sharon claims her biggest thrill is yet to come. Ambition: To be a success in what- ever I do in my life. Linda Kay Chrisinffer . . . This winsome blue-eyed blond has been a real credit to Lincoln. Linda has been a member of the honor roll with a 1.5 average, a member of senior chorus for 8 years and has been busy in journalism by being sketch editor of the Senior Rail. She has also been a member of Leaders Club, hospitality and usher commit- tee, and Future Nurses. Getting to the refrigerator before Sondra, bowl- ing and swimming are her hobbies while trying to win an argument with a certain someone is her talent. Outside of school Linda is active in J. A. and Rainbow. She can be found with Sondra, Sue. Deanna, Carol, Betty and Buzz. Linda claims her biggest thrill will be attending col- lege. Ambition: To climb the stairway of success without slipping. Rosemary Williams Brown hair, brown eyes with a smile for everyone she meets, describes R xsemary. Rosie, as she is known to her closest friends which include Jake. Bert. Janet. Polly. Phil. Pearl and Diane, came from Nathan Weeks in tenth grade. She claims her fa- vorite teacher is Mr. Wood, while Spanish is her favorite subject. Out- side of schtK)!, bowling, roller skat- ing and C. Y. O. has kept this girl very busy. Rosie says she spends her full time with Jake while she claims her biggest thrill is in the future. Ambition: To be a beautician and make my parents and a certain someone proud of me. Jacklyn Lee Clark . . . Jackie. a loyal student of Lincoln, has been here since seventh grade. Her many friends include Dick, Joan. Hop. Judy and Don. She is quite a golfer and has received one letter in that sport. She also loves to bfiwi and sew, her favorite hob- bies. She belongs to Rainbow. Y-Teen and at school was a member of Leaders Club. She was feature col- umnist on the Railsplitter and held the same position on the Greenhorn staff. Jackie served on the 12B committee for the 12A tea and her biggest thrill will come in the fu- ture. Ambition : To be loved by one and liked by all. James Lee Cleveland . . . One of Lincoln ' s top swimmers and a very friendly young man describes Jim. He has served Lincoln by be- ing on the swimming and tennis teams, earning three letters in swim- ming and one letter in tennis. Jim has been on student council for four semesters and was elected jiresi- dent of the senior council. He says his hobbies are hunting, camping and water skiing. Outside of school, the Y.M.C.A. and the Flying Hoofs Club keep Jim busy. He can be seen with Bob S.. George S., Larry. Jim F., and L. T. Jim says his biggest thrill is yet to come. Ambition: To graduate from college and live a happy life. Gary Ronald Coe . . . This tall, slender red head has a friendly, warm personality and a wonderful smile that is familiar to all. Gary says a few of his many hobbies include golf, bowling, hunt- ing and fishing. This nice fellow has been a real credit to A.L.H.S. as he has faithfully served as a hall monitor and also served on student council for one semester. He was in the school play, Behind This Mask and was a member of service home- room 26. (lary says the only talents he posseses is the ability to play golf and bowl. John, Bernie and Carl are just three of this boy ' s many friends. It seems that Gary ' s biggest thrill lies somewhere in the future. Ambition : To have a happy and suc- cessful life and make my special people proud of me. Wayne Dennis Cole . . . This active boy has been a member of service homeroom since tenth grade and has participated in both football and wrestling. Wayne has also been a member of the senior chorus and boys ' glee club, where his singing talent was put to good use. Outside of school Wayne belongs to DeMolay and C.Y.F. Bill Lee Dray . . . This nice younjf man came to Lin- coln from Kahota. Missouri in his senior year. Hill, an athlete, went out for basketball, baseball an l track, receiving a letter i n each sport. The student council has been fortunate to have this lad .serve for one semes- ter. Hill can usually be seen with Pat Hrunnen or Jim P ' ienbevK. U seems his hobbies and talents all lie in the field of sports, all sports. Hill has served on the et together com- mittee. His biKsrest thrill is yet to come. Ambition: To join the Air Force as u career. Dominic Joseph EIUh . . . Mickey, as he is known to all h!s friends, is a friendly lad who al- ways has a nice word for everyone. This witty fellow has many hobbies but hunting and fishinjr rate tops on his list. Mick has served Lincoln well by beinp: a hall monitor two semesters and he was chosen to serve on the baccalaureate com- mittee for the January 12A cla.ss. John S., Chuck C, and Jerry H. are just a few of the friends Mick can be seen with. Becoming a candidate for home- coming queen and beinjf chosen a cheerleader, were the bijCKest thrills for this sweet lass. Sharon has been a cheeileader for two years and re- ceived two lettei ' s for it. She has also been a member of the tfolf team for three years and receiver! a letter for it. Her hobbies include swimminfT, dancinj?. skatintf and bowling. She also belonj ed to Future Nurses, Latin Club, homemakinK staff and student council. She is usually seen with Penny. Andy. Mary, Clif, Caria, Nan, Carol, Shar- on, Carolyn, Julie and Peprjfy. Her main talents seem to be sayinj? the wrontf things at the right time and jfetting Clif mad at her. Ambition : To see my brother become a great doctor and Clif become a successful commercial artist. Carol Ann Evans ... A pretty young lady with light brown hair and a pleasing smile de- scribes Carol. She has been a mem- ber of Future Nurses Club where she held the offices of secretary and president and also she served on nurse ' s staff. She was a member of Leaders Club, and student council has been fortunate to have Carol serve for two semesters. Carol in- sists that her talents are all hidden but states that her hobbies are ten- nis and talking on the phone. Out- side of sch(K)l Carol has represente l Lincoln well by being a member of Younkers Teen Board. Norma, Eileen, Linda, Darlene, Diane, Sandy and Bev are a few of Carol ' s numerous friends. Ambition: To continue my education and be happy and successful in all that I attempt. Dian Kelly Evans . . . A lively little lass with sparkling eyes and a personality that is tops describes Dian. This athletic girl has received two letters in golf and she says her biggest thrill was placing in the city golf tournament and get- ting a hole in one. Mary Jo, Ray- dine, Deanna, Sandy. Janet, Carole and Norma are just a few of the many friends Dian can be seen with. While here at Lincoln, Jim has been on the basketball oeam and belongs to Jun- ior H ' ner Hrith. Jim says his hobby is playing all sports. He can be seen in the halls of Lincoln with Bob. Jim and (leorge. He says his talent is saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Jim says his big- gest thrill will be graduating from A.L.H.S. Ambition : To become a successful lawyer. Therese Marie Felice . . . Therese is a pretty dark haired girl with a charming smile. Cookie. as she is known to all her friends, has been a loyal Lincolner since eleventh grade when she came here from St. Joseph ' s Academy. This busy girl holds membership in the C.Y.O. and her hobbies include howling, baby- sitting and eating. Talking and writ- ing letters to Konnie are two of her talents. Ronnie, Mike. Toni and Connie are just a few of Cookie ' s friends. She states, My biggest thrill is yet to come. Ambition : To be a beautician and to make my parents and a certain someone proud of me. Carole claims her biggest tal- ent is getting in trouble and her biggest thrill is yet to come. Where there is swimming, bowling, dancing and parties, you will find Carole. Her most embarrassing moment was when she went babysitting and a certain someone got there before she did. She can usually be seen with Jim, Sharon, Diane, Mary, Bert, Janice and Donna. Ambition: To gain a new name without changing my initials. Sandra Lee Fisher . . . Sandy is a charming girl that ' s always laughing, full of pep and a ball to be around. Bowling and rid- ing around with the gang in her 47 seems to be Sandy ' s hobby. She has l een a loyal student of L.H.S. by serving on office staff and being a member of Leaders Club. Sandy ' s talents include talking, eating, get- ting people mad at her and work- ing hard at the Telephone Company. She has also served on student coun- cil two semesters. Sandy claims that Miss Ealy and Mr. Wt ods rate tops as her favorite teachers. It seems her biggest thrill is yet to come. This winsome lass can usually be seen with Bev, Nancy, Sharon, Joan and the rest of the gang. Ambition: To make my family proud of me and to some day have a job like my sister. Sharon Sue Fisher . . . This friendly young lady says her talents are playing the clarinet and spilling acid in chemistry class. Serving Lincoln well, Sharon has been in band and pit band for seven semesters. Future Nurses, Leaders Club and Junior Achievement are a few of the many clubs that include Sharon as a member. Fi.shing, camp- ing, horseback riding and swimming are the favorite hobbies that Sharon enjoys. She had the unusual e.xperi- ence of going to New York with the C.A.P. drill team.
