I Herein you will see the intimacies from the diary of the gradu- ating class of January, 1947, the woes and joys, the triumphs and defeats. All the important things to school life now will he re- vealed when hefore only a few locked and secluded little diaries had known them. Vve came from different schools and were first united in the wonder and fear of Lincoln high. school. From then, until ninth grade, each pursued his own interests and was welded into a united group. Since then, even with losing a good share of our class to Uncle Sam, we have brought all the groups together into one hig happy family, the senior class. It has been a Ioig time, a fast time, and happy beyond belief. Won,t you skip hack through a few years and look at what we did in our past life at Lincoln? L 4

ROBERT HORTON Vice President CHARLES CALIGIURI Treasurer GEORGE HALL President HARRIETT BERGSTROM Secretary x ,f, A, ., eafz iafzxl, Many long years ago one hundred and three little 7-Bas wallced very happily and just a little frightened into the corridors oi Lincoln high. After a weelc of loewilderment we gradually accustomed ourselves to our new environment and hecame Lincolners in spirit as Well as name. We made friends, studied, perhaps too little, and always as a final hope we wanted to graduate. The years passed, and heiore we lmew it the 9-A party pre- parations were loegun and we were 10-B's. Gul' class diminished and we found ourselves in 12-A with only 55 students, 22 looys. including servicemen, and 55 girls. With 12-A always comes the election of class officials. George Hall, president, and Charles Caligiuri, treasurer, hoth hail from Park Avenue. while Robert Horton. vice president, and Harriett Bergstrom, secretary, are Howe school alumni. Lincoln will always have a special place in our memory, for whatever we do in this world we shall owe some part of our success to alma mater. As graduates we look loaclc and all that can he said is, Goodbye, we've had a wonderful time. - ,
