Klumpar, just released from the armed forces, the team had a new spirit and a Willingness to fight. Practicing under the new flood lights until late in the even- ing, undergoing new drills and having many hard workouts were only some of the hardships the team underwent. .laclc Cherry's droplriclcing proved to he a main attraction while Dean Trent's running and the hloclring of Charles Caligiuri and Roloert Hortons were noth- ing short of sensational. uchopu and Bohn were chosen on the all-city first team, so their efforts were rewarded in the end. Dean Trent was chosen on the second team and George Hall, Boh Ben- skin and Jack Cherry were on the 860149 66144 Lincoln,s second team closed the 1046 -season with four games won and two games lost. This was the most successful season since 19110. Under the direction of Mr, Franlc Talarico the usecondsn worlced hard and long for the glory they now deserve to have. As l relaxed, my mind became a blanlc and my sub-conscious began to worlc. l saw the world as it was in the year 1965. Frances Emily Polson Nelson is still a model- ing mother. Juanita Smith is now apearing in her 100th performance in the latest lrving Berlin hit, Hsmittie Get Your Bazoolcaf' formerly Annie Get Your Gun. One ot Xvenclell Cristss hlue ribbon horses has come in lirst in this seasongs Kentuclcy Derby. Janice Cavencler is now living in the lVlount mansion atop Snobh Hill in sunny California. Betty Atlcinson lived a very abnormal life. She married Bob and lived happily ever after. Coach George Hall is training his family ol eleven boys to play against Darrell Cahhal's family of eleven boys in a Hbig timen football game. Donabelle Devol is now secretary to Dale Chaclwiclc. newly inaugurated President of the United States. Hair Styles lay Doane may be seen exclusive- ly on all New Yorlc models. Dr. Van Ginlcle, assisted by nurse Hull is now practicing at the Blueblood veterinarian hospital. All Lincoln high is patronizing uDoris Hol- lingsvvorthys Drive ln, located two mites outside Vvatersprings, Arlcansas. lVlarian Simpson has finally made her stage appearance at the lvlaple Grove neighborhood theater, playing her masterpiece The Craclcerjaclc Polka. Five star general George Thomas is now lead- ing his taslc force through the polar regions, loolc- ing for Eva Davis, who is believed to have talcen a detour on the way to homeroom. Lucille Slater sleelced out on to the Atlantic City broadwallc to capture the title of ulVliss America ot 1963 Horton and Bergstrom are drawing crowds by the millions at their side show, with the Lady Bergstrom doing her fascinating dance and Horton rolling his frealc eye that paralyzes the crowd. Appearing at Carnegie Hall is Shirley lVlatson and lVlary Caponigro, playing that ever popular Zacavary Suite No. 001 in Nancy Fosdicl: may he seen on the street corner of Seventh and Walnut tooting her slide trombone.
