De clica tion It is with a deep sense of appreciation and grati- tude for his years of service that this Annual is dedicated to Mr. Louis W. Tozier. Soon after coming to Lincoln, Mr. Tozier be- came more than just a teacher to his students. We all know of his iine work in organizing our football and dance bands, and in providing music for all social gatherings of the student body. Still, We feel that Mr. Tozier's greatest accomplishment has been with people rather than music. As a teacher and a friend, he has instilled harmony, not only in the minds, but in the hearts of his pupils. We find it diiiicult to imagine Lincoln High School without its Mr. Tozier. He has been an in- spiration to a finer school spiritg his friendly atti- tude and co-operation have endeared him to all.

They demand that each student know harmony, not only as the basis of inusic and art, but as the basis of all peaceful living. Therefore, it is only fitting that this Annual be devoted to that unity, that lasting peace and spiritual quiet to which each of us aspires -har- mony. May one and all be strengthened and in- spired along their way by the standards set forth in these pages.
